Pocket Runthrough started as a group chat where a few of us kept swapping screenshots and tips about the mobile games we were stuck on. At some point it made more sense to write things down properly, so here we are. Nobody handed us a mission statement; we just wanted guides that skip the fluff and get to the point.

Every game we cover gets played by an actual person on an actual phone. We don't copy patch notes or paraphrase other sites. If a level is genuinely annoying, we say so, and if a mechanic clicks after an hour, we explain what changed.

We pick games across a mix of genres because we get bored otherwise. One week it's a slow strategy title, the next it's a racing game we can't put down. The only rule is that we have to have spent real time with it before writing anything.

The site is small on purpose. Fewer articles, more care per article. If something in a guide is wrong or out of date, tell us and we'll fix it.
