Tide Command

★★★★☆ 4.3 Editor rating

Tide Command is slower than most mobile strategy games, and that's the point. You spend as much time worrying about fuel and repair docks as you do about actual battles. It rewards planning three turns ahead.

The interface took me a session to learn, but once it clicked I stopped fighting the menus. Each campaign map has a different chokepoint that forces you to rethink your favorite fleet setup, which kept things fresh across a dozen missions.

It's not a game for quick bursts. Set aside a proper twenty minutes or you'll lose track of a half-finished supply route and regret it.
